January to December 2025 calendar, typewritten with notes, quotes and directions across 15 sheets of 200gsm (90lb) watercolour paper, 28.6cm x 24cm (11.25” x 9.5”) spiral bound with a hanging loop. Start painting any time in January.
 
Every morning, I clear my mind and paint without purpose or design. It is not an act of creation, but one of self-care. By calmly painting a few lines of watercolour, my ability to attend to all aspects of the day ahead is improved. When I focus entirely on what happens as water, paint and bristles mingle, my internal monologue is quietened. Thoughts of yesterday’s interactions and to-do lists for today are pushed aside, making space for the clarity of simply “being”.
 
The aim of the “Morning Marks” calendar is to share this regimen with you by providing a special place for your own mindful watercolour practice.

Select “with starter marks” if you’d like a few lines or shapes of colour on each page. This will give you something to respond to, bypassing the “how do I start?” stage that some people experience when faced with a blank page.

Or “without starter marks” if you just want the typewritten text.
