28 half pans of artist quality highly pigmented handmade watercolour paint in a vintage tin (15 x 9.5 x 4 cm).
Pans come individually wrapped, in colour-swatched cartridge paper. Their magnetic bases mean they can be rearranged, added to, or replaced with ease.
This tin contains a tetradic palette of specially selected contrasting blues, yellows, greens, purples, oranges, pinks, and reds:
Brown Bear, Orange Bobby, Hendo’s, Macbeth, Old Rose, School Disco*, Byzantium*, Pretty in Pink, Chalky Violet, Melanzane, First Date, Twilight, Duomo, Green Velvet, Carlingford, Forge Dam, and Buttermilk. Plus the single-pigment colours Pyrrole Red, Quinacridone Red, Transparent Red Oxide *NEW*, Bismuth Vanadate Lemon, Benzi Yellow, Transparent Yellow Oxide *NEW*, French Ultramarine, and Indanthrone Blue *NEW*. And our secondary colours Pyrrole Orange, Dioxazine Violet, and Permanent Green.
All blended colours are unique, inspired by Tansy’s interaction with and memories of the world around her.
Ingredients: pure pigment, Kordofan gum Arabic, organic Yorkshire honey, glycerine, clove oil and distilled water. Colours marked * contain a fluorescent pigment, which is not archivally lightfast. All other colours are lightfast.
