20 half pans of artist quality highly pigmented handmade watercolour paint in a vintage tin (13.8x10.7x3cm).
Pans come individually wrapped, in colour-swatched cartridge paper. Their magnetic bases mean they can be rearranged, added to, or replaced with ease.
This tetradic palette of yellows, oranges, reds, greens, and blues provides the following selection of Tansy’s unique colours:
Brown Bear, Orange Bobby, Hendo’s, Feeling Groovy*, Rowanberry*, Old Rose, Cassie's Eyes, Green Velvet, Juniper, Bay, Forge Dam, Buttermilk, Spindrift, Peppercorn, and Crozzle. Plus the primary triad of single-pigment colours Translucent Red Oxide, Pyramid Yellow, Translucent Yellow Oxide, and Indanthrone Blue. And our secondary colour Pyrrole Orange.
All blended colours are unique, inspired by Tansy’s interaction with and memories of the world around her.
Ingredients: pure pigment, Kordofan gum Arabic, organic Yorkshire honey, glycerine, clove oil and distilled water. Colours marked * contain a fluorescent pigment, which is not archivally lightfast. All other colours are lightfast.
