This is a studio-based workshop during which you will learn to make and use watercolour paint in an attentive and mindful manner.
Suitable for all levels of experience and ability. Places are strictly limited.
Day 1 will focus on the technicalities of making, mixing and applying watercolour.
Day 2 will be all about luxuriating in the slow art of watercolour painting, guided by your personal response to colour, sound, and sensations as they occur, in the deeply relaxing environment of Tansy’s riverside studio.
Art supplies and light refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own lunch (a nice café that does takeaway sandwiches is within walking distance of the studio).
Supper at a restaurant in Kelham Island on the Saturday evening will be optional (not included in the workshop price). Tansy will communicate with you via email about this sociable extra nearer the time.
