20 half pans of artist quality highly pigmented handmade watercolour paint in a vintage toffee tin (11.7cm diameter, 3.4cm height).
Pans come individually wrapped, in colour-swatched cartridge paper. Their magnetic bases mean they can be rearranged, added to, or replaced with ease.
This warm tetradic palette of yellows to reds provides the following selection of Tansy’s unique colours:
Brown Bear, Orange Bobby, Hendo’s, Feeling Groovy*, Macbeth, Rowanberry*, Buttermilk, Tansy, Spindrift, Peppercorn, and Crozzle. Plus the single-pigment colours Pyrrole Red, Quinacridone Red, Quinacridone Magenta, Translucent Red Oxide, Pyramid Yellow, Bismuth Vanadate Lemon, Benzi Yellow, Translucent Yellow Oxide. And our secondary colour Pyrrole Orange.
All blended colours are unique, inspired by Tansy’s interaction with and memories of the world around her.
Ingredients: pure pigment, Kordofan gum Arabic, organic Yorkshire honey, glycerine, clove oil and distilled water. Colours marked * contain a fluorescent pigment, which is not archivally lightfast. All other colours are lightfast.
